Nevada Car Seat Laws- Any child less than 6 years old or 60 lbs. must ride in an approved child restraint system.

Nevada Car Seat Laws for children riding in public transportation-  Children are not required to ride in a car seat when riding in any vehicle that is not equipped with safety belts- this includes shuttles and busses.  Also, children are not required to be buckled into a car seat when riding in a taxi.  However many taxis here in Las Vegas are equipped to carry car seats and permit you to use them to provide a safer transport for your child.
